Are Tams Tribe Online Programs suitable for beginners?

Yes, we offer programs to all fitness levels and abilities. If you’re just starting out on your fitness journey we would recommend our Power Women Custom Program as it will ensure you work closely with one of our coaches and get the guidance and support you need.

Can I get results with an online program?

Absolutely you can, online coaching has come in leaps and bounds in the past few years & Tams Tribe has developed an amazing way to make it just as effective and even more efficient than face to face coaching. Having a virtual coach means you can train in the comfort of your own home or have your program and coach on hand anytime you need it.

I have injuries. Can I still use the online training programs?

Yes, we specialise in rehabilitation of injuries and many of our clients are referred by doctors and physiotherapists for online coaching specifically. We would recommend the Power Women program as it is customised to you and your needs so much easier to work with you and your injury.

If I am training at home do I need any equipment for the online programs?

All programs do require a few basic pieces of training equipment to begin with these include;

  • Yoga Mat
  • Towel – large
  • 1 x Medium booty band
  • 1 x heavy booty band
  • 1 x X-Small resistance band
  • 1 x Small resistance band
  • 1 x light set Dumbbells
  • 1 x heavier set Dumbbells.

Once you purchase the program we will give you a link to best places to purchase these before you get started.

What is involved in each of the online programs and who are they suitable for?

Power Women is a completely customised program therefore it is suitable for any women wanting to get strong, fit & healthy. You can be a complete beginner or a seasoned lifter. You will work closely with one of our coaches who will develop a program specific to your goals.

Build Your Base is perfect for women who want to focus on improving their mobility & flexibility, increasing core strength, and learning more functional breathing patterns. This online program can be done from the comfort of your own home and is a great add on to your current strength program or maybe it’s your first step to starting a training regime. This program is for complete beginners to the seasoned lifters, no matter who we are we all need to have a strong base to work from.

Strength At Home brings strength training into your home environment. Using just a few key pieces of home gym equipment, each workout will guide you to develop and refine the key movement patterns of strength training, gain some muscle and build your strength. This program is for those who want to incorporate strength training into their weekly routine, in the comfort of their own home. It’s designed for women who are less experienced & wanting to broaden their knowledge of strength training techniques. Learn the basics if you don’t yet feel confident hitting the gym.

How long does the Power Women Program go for?

We don’t like to put timelines on things here at Tams Tribe, good things take time, patience and consistency and this can take different times for each person. We recommend doing at least 12-24 weeks but most of our girls stay with us for a long time anything from 12 months to 10 years. This isn’t a quick fix, this is a long term lifestyle change.

What if I am unsure of some of the exercises in my online program?

All our programs run through the TrueCoach app and have a complete exercise demonstration library with clear and well explained videos of all exercises. If you join the Power Women Program you will also have your own coach to correct your technique via video.

What if I sign up to a program & then realise I need more help, can I switch to the Power Women Program?

Yes, if you sign up to Build Your Base or Strength at Home & then decide you would like more help from our coaches we can easily switch you to the Power Women Program and give you easier access to a coach.

How do the payments work for the online coaching programs?

All payments are set up as a subscription via the Tams Tribe website, they are run through the stripe secure payment system. All your details will only be kept by Stripe to take your weekly payments.

Does Tams Tribe offer nutritional coaching?

No, at this stage we do not offer nutritional coaching, we specialise in strength coaching & believe it’s important to be the best in our field. We do refer you to some of our amazing collaborations for help with your nutrition. We have hand selected a few that align with us, so please reach out and we would love to help you find the right specialist so you can kick your nutrition goals too.

If I am Sydney based or coming to Sydney to visit can I book in a face to face Personal Training session with my coach?

Yes, absolutely you can. We love to meet our online clients face to face if they are ever in our neck of the woods. Contact your coach directly via the app if you’re planning a trip and we can book you in a session while you’re there.

How do I contact my coach if I have questions about my program or am struggling?

All program communication is done via the TrueCoach app messenger, your coach will be prompt at replying to your messages so please never hesitate to contact them, remember though that they all have lives of their own so may not always be able to reply outside of working hours but will get back to you ASAP.

What if I am experienced at strength training, will the online program still be suitable for me?

Yes, all our programs have scalable options & we coach many experienced lifters. Reach out, we would love to give you more information on how we can help you reach your goals.

What results can I expect from Tams Tribe online coaching programs?

The sky is your limit. Our aim is to educate and listen to all of our clients to ensure we can help you to the best of our ability but you also have to match us with effort and trust. We will give you as much as we can to guide and support you and it’s up to you to use that to get the best results possible. We help you find your own accountability & long term discipline.

Do I need to have a gym membership to join Tams Tribe Online Programming?

No, you do not need to have a gym membership to join any of our online programs. There are home options for all programs. We will recommend some home equipment for you to purchase prior to the start of your program.

What if I start with a home program can I switch to gym or have a bit of both?

Yes, if you choose the Custom Power Women program you have the option to mix and match home and gym workouts or switch from home at start to gym later here the world is your oyster. As for Strength at Home Program & Build your Base these are both at home only programs.

How do I access my programs?

We use an app called TrueCoach for all our online programming. Once you have signed up to a program you will receive an invite to join our TrueCoach account from your coach. Your program will sit here and you will have 24/7 access to it on your phone, tablet or laptop. It is a user friendly app, with a full exercise demonstration library, messaging capabilities, and ability to add weights and notes

Do you offer Virtual Personal Training sessions to go with my program?

Yes, we offer virtual Personal Training as an add on to any of our online programs, we actually recommend doing a virtual session with your coach every 4-6 weeks to check in on your technique so we can ensure you’re moving safely and effectively.

How does my coach contact me for my fortnightly check-ins in the Power Women Program?

Fortnightly check-ins are made via the TrueCoach app, your coach will send you a private message each fortnight checking in on your progress and is there to answer any questions you need.

If I sign up to the Power Women Program can I drop down to Build Your Base or Strength at Home programs?

Yes, but only after you have completed 12 weeks on Power Women first, we want to ensure you’re ready to go out on your own so ask for at least the first 12 weeks on the Custom Power Women Program.

What if I am going on holiday or away for work?

Of course we all take breaks throughout the year so we accommodate these within our programming, we offer minimal equipment options so workouts can be completed in your hotel room or gym. If you’re on our Power Women program just let us know your holiday dates & we will ensure your custom program is adjusted to suit your needs whilst away.

Can I cancel my program?

Yes, we allow cancellations due to all our programming being completed in four week blocks we have minimum of four weeks for each program after which you can send an email request to cancel your subscription.

If I have been referred to Tams Tribe by my health professional how do I know which program to choose?

We suggest if you are coming to us via a referral from our awesome collaborations that you first email us or book a consult to let us know who you’ve been referred by and give us a little insight into what it is you’re after.
