Do You Show Up For Yourself?

There are days I don’t feel like training

There are days I want to hit snooze on my alarm

There are days I don’t feel motivated

Yes, I am human just like you!

But there is one thing I do, do not matter what

I show up for myself. EVERYDAY!

I don’t expect others to do the work for me, I am willing to do the work for me.

I am faced with girls everyday telling me their goals, their dreams but also often their excuses as to why they can’t achieve what they set out to do.

WHY?

Because there is a big difference between learning and doing. I can give you all the information you need to succeed, but if you don’t apply that information you won’t get the results. It’s that simple.

For example, take your training plan do you skip some of the exercises you don’t like, or that challenge you? Or your weekly meal plan do you change your food around and not apply these changes to your calorie intake? Do you write down goals, but don’t make action steps to actually complete them?

The reason so many fail, or lose track is because they cut corners, they are not willing to put in the hard work, take all the steps, do the things that make them uncomfortable. If it’s uncomfortable then you should be stepping towards it, not finding a way around it.

Am I scared?

Of course, I am, some of my dreams and goals are so big they intimidate me on a daily basis, but I do my best to continue to take action towards them, even if it’s baby steps, it’s still progress towards the end goal.

If you are scared of failing, you fail to take action.

The thing is when you really want something you must be willing to do the work, you must be unwilling to put up with your current situation anymore, because when you get to here it is then by default you become willing to do the work.

You are where you are at right now, based on the choices you have made. So, it’s time to drop the excuses of “I don’t have time”, “It’s too overwhelming”, I can’t afford it”, “I don’t like it”. “I don’t know where to start” it’s GO TIME. There isn’t a better time to start than right now.

How to begin?

Gain clarity about your goals, write them down, break them down, stick them up on your wall, YOU NEED PURPOSE.

Get support, have a mentor or coach, they will help you stay accountable to yourself.
